Chocolate Gifts - Be Happy Eat Your Chocolate!

Chocolate Gifts

People today are very health conscious and eating sugar is avoided or kept to a minimum either due to health conditions like diabetes or, in some cases, from the simple desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Chocolates, on the other hand, are the favorite food item of many people and it is very likely you'll come across individuals where these two contradictory conditions are at loggerheads with each other. That is to say a person likes chocolates but cannot eat them due to the large amounts of sugar that go into the making of mainstream chocolates.

As they say, "where there's a will, there's a way," therefore it is not surprising that an alternative exists for such people, namely the sugarless chocolate. Although the name is self explanatory, that does not mean that such chocolates are not sweet (which would defeat the primary goal of your palette and your love for munching them).

There are several artificial sweetening agents commercially available which can be used to simulate the affect of sweetness on the tongue, but do not have the harmful affects associated with table sugar. Although there is a certain level of uncertainly regarding the safety of such products like saccharin (which was demonstrated to produce cancerous affects under laboratory conditions). Despite the doubts, there does exist several types of sugar alternatives in the market, and these alternatives are being used by manufacturers of food products, including chocolate.

Lucky for most of us wishing to be slim and fit, many of the major producers of chocolate have their sugarless chocolate alternative apart from their mainstream sugared counterparts. The consumer is now given the ability to use their own discretion when deciding which type of chocolate to consume.

Chocolate has a long and illustrious history and people will continue to be drawn to everything chocolate! For diabetics or people with weight problems, chocolate is no longer out of their reach. With care and proper research fine foods once forbidden to many can go back on their diets. From holidays to just a relaxing part of anyone's day, sugarless products are making it possible for everyone to be happy!

Chocolate Phone - Hershey Chocolate - The All American Treat

Chocolate Phone

I've grown up around the famous Hershey chocolate because I live only thirty minutes away from Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is probably flowing through my veins because I've eaten so much of it. This company has created many different varieties of chocolate as the years have moved forward and continues to move. Some of these creations have been very delicious and others faded out in time. However, the traditional Hershey chocolate bars have forever remained constant. You simply cannot go wrong when taking a bite out of one of those chocolate bars.

If you are familiar with Hershey, then you probably know about Hershey Park. It is a large and adventurous amusement park that has tons of rides and shows. The best part of the amusement park is that it is attached to the world of Hershey chocolate. Visitors can learn about the history of Hershey and how it became so large and famous through a ride and tour inside the park. This ride is free, entertaining and educational. The best part is that an attendant is waiting to give you a sample of some sort of chocolate when you exit the ride and head back down the ramps to leave.

Visitors have to exit through the gift shop when they leave the park. Every sort of Hershey chocolate you can imagine can be found in this huge gift shop. The prices of these products are really not bad and you can get some wonderful gifts for people. If you are a chocolate lover, then you know that receiving Hershey chocolate as a gift is such a treat. Chocolate is always a welcome gift even for people who live so close to Hershey.

Hershey chocolate is included in many dessert recipes. A recipe for dessert often calls for Hershey chocolate syrup or candy bars. You can't go wrong with using it because this chocolate has that unique and perfect taste that can perfect any recipe. You can use some brownie mixes have Hershey's syrup in the box, which is very convenient and helpful. Hershey chocolate has become so famous and reliable that large companies are pairing their products with Hershey.

Chocolate Truffles - Flowers, Chocolates or Jewelry?

Chocolate Truffles

Let?s take a look at these 3 popular items to determine the best choice. Whether you are buying your lady a birthday, anniversary or a ?just because? gift, you want your gift to say, ?You are special to me.?

Scenario#1: Mr. Smith is on his way home from a bad day at work. Making a quick stop at the grocery store to buy his favorite comfort food or drink, he spots several day old bouquets wrapped in plastic and remembers that it?s his anniversary. He grabs the flowers, pays for his items and presents Mrs. Smith the bouquet (still in the plastic with the price tag on it) upon arriving home. As she smiles and thanks him, she?s secretly thinking, ?What a disappointment. I can?t believe he forgot again.?

Scenario #2: Remembering several days ahead of time, Mr. Smith purchases a nice box of chocolates and takes the time to wrap it. He presents it to his wife on their anniversary. She is very pleased that he?s remembered their anniversary and is happy with the chocolates.

Scenario #3: Several months before his anniversary, Mr. Smith starts surfing the web internet for the perfect gift. Deciding on a bracelet, he is pleased with Mrs. Smith?s reaction as she opens her gift. She is genuinely delighted. This is a gift that says, ?You are special to me.?

Flowers and chocolates are not necessarily a bad choice for a gift- as long as there is thought put into it. Women look at things differently than men. The thought, effort and time put into selecting a gift means almost as much, if not as much to them as the gift itself. When you buy her jewelry, it tells her that you have put thought into selecting this gift because there are so many places that you can buy jewelry. It also shows that you know what she likes.

Another way of looking at it when trying to decide which gift to buy her: Flowers will die, chocolates will be eaten, but jewelry will last. Every time she wears it she?ll be reminded that you bought it for her and that you think she is special.

Chocolate Chips - LG KG800 Chocolate - The Sexiest Phone On The Market

Chocolate Chips

When the LG KG800 Chocolate hit the retail stands, it was the most anticipated phone in the world.

It is iPod-like in appearance and boasts a range of features that would make its competitors green with envy. Months after its release, it is still as popular as ever and has a distinct sex appeal about it, which is odd considering it is a mobile phone.

On appearance alone, the KG800 is simply awesome. Available in black and white, it is sleek and sophisticated, which is largely as a result of the simplicity of the colour scheme. It doesn't appear to be too fancy, instead drawing focus towards the internal capabilities of the phone. The perfect rectangular shape of this slider has universal appeal and is easy enough to use, even if the initial slide action is a tad more difficult to figure out than other slider phones.

Delving deeper under the surface

The Chocolate has some very nice features although none of them are necessarily innovative or unique. This just adds to its appeal though, because you know exactly what to expect. Images taken from the 1.3MP camera are bright and clear, with the KG800 displaying 256,000 colours. The 2" screen serves to enhance this function too.

Speaking of the camera, it offers a good range of choices for photos. You can have normal, fine and superfine images taken in one of five resolutions. The 128MB memory may limit how many superfine pictures you have though. It may also limit the amount of songs you choose to store because there is no memory card slot either. This is a shame because the quality of sound the MP3 player provides is excellent

The KG800's connectivity gives it a distinct advantage. It has a USB hub and bluetooth capabilities but without the faults that other phones tend to have. The reception also seems to be good, regardless of where you are.

The keypad of the KG800 is one of the very few negative points it has. It is touch sensitive rather than having the traditional buttons, and boy are they sensitive. Misdialling is quite common until you get used to it and text messages also prove to be a popular complaint. Unfortunately, lifting the phone to your face has the same effect. It is possible to navigate through the entire menu without touching the pad with your fingers! This not only proves to be annoying, but a complete pain when you are pushed for time.

LG - Looks Good!

The LG KG800 Chocolate is by far the sexiest phone on the market and, as long as you have sufficient patience to cope with the keypad, is a great phone to have. I can see why it is so popular but it wouldn?t be my first choice of phone because of the keypad. Give me normal buttons any day!

Health Benefit Of Chocolate - Sweeten up Mother's Day with Chocolates

Health Benefit Of Chocolate

Mother?s Day is in a week and a half so there is not a lot of time left to get the perfect gift for mom. Fortunately, there is one gift virtually all moms will love and that is chocolate. Some of the best Mother?s Day gifts include a box of Hershey kisses cherry cordials along with any other gift you might buy. Of course, if all you can afford is a box of Hershey cherry cordials you can bet on mom being happy and loving her gift.

It?s really easy to get the idea that you need to spend lots of money on mom for Mother?s Day in order for her to appreciate the gift. However this is not the case at all. Moms are rather simple in their appreciation for gifts from their children and if you simply write your mom a special card telling her how much you love her that will be cherished longer than any other type of gift. Of course moms love diamonds and other nice gifts, but that doesn?t necessarily mean it will be the most appreciated gift. So, consider sitting down and writing a poem, a letter, or some other special card just to let your mom know how you feel. She will love it and don?t be surprised if you see some tears!

Flowers are also a great gift for mom and they are usually expected on Mother?s Day. Why not buy a box of Hershey cherry cordials and pair them with a bouquet of flowers for your mom? She will have two of the gifts women love most, flowers and chocolate! Of course, you can buy your mom anything you think she will like. Some women might want a gift card for their favorite restaurant while another mom might want a weekend out of town. Some moms might even want mom inspired jewelry or clothes. The point is that you know your mom and her likes and dislikes so keep this in mind when buying something for your mom. Make it a gift that is all about her and then plan on spending the day with her. There is perhaps no better gift than spending your whole day with your mom.

These are just a few ways to sweeten up Mother?s Day and make it extra special for your mom this year. No matter what you decide on you need to think about it and make a plan now because there are just a few days left!

Chocolate Milk - Chocolate Bars - Still Delicious!

Chocolate Milk

The term chocolate bar is a popular way of describing a confectionery treat in the form of a bar. This is usually packaged in a bar shape with individual perforations or in a long, narrow, shaped log covered with chocolate. Many types of chocolate bar exist and there are thousands of companies that create chocolate bars. Some of these companies produce many choices of fillings in their chocolate bar, such as nuts, fruit, mint, coconut, marzipan and many more.

The chocolate bar evolved in approximately the late 1900s. Chocolate had become popular many years before the introduction of the bar but the idea of creating a chocolate bar was to provide a more convenient way of consuming the chocolate. The bars could be packaged and sold to eat easily by hand or while on the go. Up to the invention of the chocolate bar, chocolate had been sold by bulk with loose, irregular or formed pieces.

During the Great Depression, the cost of a chocolate bar was five cents. The price rose to ten cents after World War II and remained that price for many years. More advanced packaging and advertising contributed to the increase in cost to the consumer of many types of chocolate bars. Many chocolate companies still make the same bars they started out with, also adding many more varieties. Some popular chocolate bars that are still popular today are Clark Bar 1917, Baby Ruth 1920, The Charleston Chew 1922, Three Musketeers 1932, Fifth Avenue 1936 and many more. The Hershey Chocolate Company makes several chocolate bars that have been enjoyed for many years. The Krackel Chocolate bar was introduced in 1938 and the bars first contained almonds and then in 1939 peanuts were added alongside of the almonds. In 1941 the Hershey company changed the direction of the Krackel bar and removed all nuts and peanuts, which is the way we know the Krackel bar today. The shape of the York Peppermint Pattie may be round but it is still considered a chocolate bar. The Peppermint Pattie was introduced in 1940 and is still enjoyed today.

Chocolate bars can be used for fundraising, as where a sports team, corporation or school uses the chocolate bars to raise money for needed supplies. There are companies that put their corporate logo on the chocolate for use at promotional shows, incentive programs, and customer appreciation or to encourage attendance at board meetings. Wedding favors and other special parties, such as Bar Mitzvahs or milestone birthdays or anniversaries, are perfect occasions to use personalized chocolate bars to mark the day.
